Located on a picturesque street, in between Ponsonby and Herne Bay, this home is a typical miner’s cottage. Its previous owner was an interior designer who had renovated it to a high standard in the 1990s.
Twenty years on, the home’s new owner was eager to make her own mark on the property. She favoured a feminine, elegant colour scheme, which would be in keeping with the home’s beautiful landscaping.
The new colour scheme was developed by one of New Zealand’s leading interior designers. It involved applying different colours and products to adjoining surfaces, which meant the workmanship had to be precise.
Together, the quality of workmanship, colour scheme and adjacent landscaping contribute to a breath taking effect. To this day, our client receives regular compliments about her home.
